Daniel Boone Stool
Description:

Stool claimed to have been made from a tree on which Daniel Boone had carved an inscription on in 1760. A label on the bottom of the stool states the beech tree once stood on Boone's Creek in Tennessee. The tree fell during the winter of 1917-1918 and the wood was later purchased in 1937 by the John Seiver Chapter of the DAR (Daughters of the American Revolution) who had items made from the wood to sell.
