Saber blade is single edged, slightly curved; single fuller or blood groove extending down 3/4 length of blade on both sides. Blade tip is broken. The hilt is very simple; knuckle guard and quillon are one continuos piece; knuckle guard extends above the blade slightly. The grip is ten-sided with eagle's head pommel. Used by Captain James Smith, in the War of 1812.
