What began as a “feeble-minded asylum” at Knightstown moved to Fort Wayne as the Indiana School for Feeble-Minded Youth around 1890. The facility moved through several changes, both in location and ideology.  Learn of the evolution of care for those with intellectual, and sometimes physical, disabilities over the span of more than 100 years.
