This book covers the history of the first one hundred years of the Church of the Brethren in Fort Wayne, Indiana.It is not a book for the theologian, but rather a book for the layman. For the layman, it is a source of enjoyment because it does not get bogged down in “boring history.”  For the historian or genealogist it is a source of names and places, most of which are indexed.

The Church of the Brethren in Fort Wayne has its roots spreading to many other Brethren churches in the area. One of those churches supplied two of their Pastors, who served consecutively, who in turn came to Fort Wayne and served consecutively. An thus it has been for last one hundred years, the intertwining of regional congregations by the migration of their people from one Church to another.
