Description:
This quilt was made by the donor's great-grandmother, Wilhelmina Rolf Roesner c. 1880 and is completely hand stitched. Each pattern block is made up of nine smaller blocks and five of those nine blocks are made up of four even smaller blocks- hence the pattern name "Four Patch within Nine Patch."
